The MWD Logo

The water district’s logo has evolved through the years. The first logo, which had a water tank design, was developed upon the creation of the water district from the merging of two RWSAs in Maragondon.

The water district logo was later revised to feature the slogan “Tubig ay Mahalaga, Huwag Mag-aksaya” (Water is Important, Do not Waste It). The design at the center is based on the painting of Francis Angue, which won at the Philippine Association of Water Districts Poster Making Contest in 1998.

Francis Angue’s design was later incorporated into a new logo with a new slogan: “Tubig Ko, Ingatan Mo.”  This design was created by Ramir Ancayan.

A simpler layout that is similar to of the earlier logos is currently being used by the water district as its new logo.
